Privacy Policy

Your business information deserves clear boundaries and responsible handling.

Draft for review · Updated October 18, 2026. These draft policies need the operator’s legal review and business details before public launch.

1. Information we handle

KJ Daybook processes information you provide when creating an account or workspace, including your name, email address, company details and access settings. If you upload files or connect a business system, we process the business records you choose to provide. Questions, analyses, saved actions and technical logs may also contain information associated with your use of the service.

2. How information is used

We use this information to provide account access, organize your workspace, calculate business metrics, generate requested analysis and reports, and support security and reliability. Where applicable, processing is based on providing the service, legitimate interests in maintaining a secure service, legal obligations, or consent when required.

3. Workspace access and service providers

Your workspace’s business records are restricted by company membership and configured access permissions. Your workspace administrator controls who can access them. Infrastructure and AI service providers may process information needed to deliver the service; relevant records and questions may be sent to an AI provider when you request AI analysis. Information may also be disclosed when legally required. Do not upload information you are not authorized to share.

4. Storage, security and retention

We use access controls and company-scoped permissions to protect business records, but no service can guarantee absolute security. Information is retained as needed to provide the service and meet applicable obligations. Deletion requests may be subject to backup retention, legal requirements and the rights of other authorized workspace members. Provider processing may occur outside your country; applicable transfer requirements must be addressed before launch.

5. Cookies and browser storage

The service uses session information and browser storage for sign-in, security and workspace preferences, such as your selected location and reporting period. Optional tracking, if introduced, should be described here and require consent where applicable.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict or delete personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Contact your workspace administrator for access changes. For privacy requests, use our Contact page. Identity and authority may need to be verified before a request is fulfilled. You may also contact your local data protection authority.

7. Updates and operator details

This policy may be updated as the service evolves. Material changes should be communicated through the service. The operator’s legal name, address, privacy contact, provider details and applicable retention periods must be confirmed before this draft is adopted.
